Open an Education Plan account in less time than it takes you to get your kids to bed. Our step-by-step process only takes about 15 minutes.

What you will need:

  • Basic information about your future student (name, address, birth date, Social Security number)
  • A check with your bank account routing number (to make your first deposit)
  • An email address
Note: Online enrollment requires account set-up via direct deposit from your bank account or via rollover of an investment in another 529 plan.

The Education Plan® is operated as a qualified tuition program offered by The Education Trust Board of New Mexico and is available to all U.S. residents. Some states offer favorable tax treatment to their residents only if they invest in the state's own plan.
